Qingdao HuaxinFoundry Automation ExpertSand Preparation System
A complete no-bake sand reclamation system from used-sand treatment to reclaimed-sand output, supporting sand reuse and lower operating costs.

System Introduction
We provide a complete no-bake sand reclamation system from used-sand treatment to reclaimed-sand output, helping foundries achieve stable, efficient and environmentally responsible sand reuse. It supports multi-product production of iron, steel and non-ferrous castings and meets the requirements of furan resin sand, alkaline phenolic resin sand, ester-hardened sodium silicate sand and Pep Set resin sand processes.
The complete no-bake sand reclamation system circulates foundry used sand through crushing, reclamation, screening, air separation and cooling. This supports efficient used-sand recovery, lower production costs and more consistent foundry sand quality. Each subsystem can operate independently or as part of an interlocked line.
Process Integration
Used sand moves through shakeout and magnetic separation, crushing, reclamation and air classification, cooling and storage, then conveying and sand mixing before returning to pouring, flask assembly and molding. The layout retains the dust-collection, fresh-sand and return-loop relationships in a width-efficient format.
Dust extraction connects the main emission points at shakeout, elevating, crushing, reclamation, air classification, cooling and mixing.
Fresh sand enters the twin-chamber hopper by bucket elevator and is combined with reclaimed sand as required by the process.
Used sand from pouring, flask assembly and molding returns to shakeout to complete the reclamation loop.
Equipment Advantages
Improves used-sand utilization and reduces fresh-sand costs.
Maintains consistent reclaimed sand quality to support casting quality control.
PLC control coordinates conveying, screening and reclamation to reduce manual work and improve production efficiency and operating stability.
Reduces waste-sand discharge and supports foundry environmental requirements.
Provides a complete sand reclamation solution from used-sand treatment to reclaimed-sand output.
Configured around each foundry's process, capacity and site conditions.
FAQ
Answers to common questions about resin sand mixing, used-sand reclamation, line configuration, automation and installation services.
Resin Sand Production Line
Our resin sand mixers are available in multiple specifications, with output capacities ranging from 5 to 100 tonnes per hour. The model can be customized to match the customer's actual production requirements.
A mechanical reclamation system can typically achieve a used-sand reuse rate of approximately 90%–95%. Actual performance depends on used-sand quality, resin type, loss on ignition, equipment configuration and the reclaimed-sand quality required for the castings.
The line can be configured with customized PLC and HMI automatic control, including ratio settings, flow monitoring, fault alarms and data recording. Simple operation reduces manual intervention and helps maintain consistent molding-sand quality.
A resin sand reclamation line can include a vibrating shakeout machine, sand-lump crusher, magnetic separator, vibrating screen, mechanical reclaimer, sand-temperature regulator, elevators, conveying equipment, sand hoppers, dosing equipment, dust collection system and electrical control system. The final configuration is determined by capacity and site conditions.
Yes. Shakeout, crushing, screening, reclamation and conveying all generate dust. A properly designed dust collection system helps improve the working environment, protect equipment and maintain reclaimed-sand quality.
Yes. Please provide the resin sand and binder system, casting material and main casting weights, hourly used-sand throughput, workshop plan and clear height, installation space, local voltage and frequency, environmental requirements, and whether mixing, conveying, storage and dust collection systems are required. We will develop a tailored solution.
Yes. We provide turnkey support covering equipment installation, pipeline connections, system commissioning and operator training. Our engineers can guide installation and commissioning on site and provide operation and maintenance training to support a smooth production launch.
