Film Coated Sand Shell Production Line
Steel Shot Filling Shell Molding Line (Shell Molding Line) is designed for the production of coated-sand shell molds. Steel shot or dry sand is used as the backing material to support the molds during casting, making the line ideal for high-quality casting production.
The shell molding process provides strong molds with excellent permeability and easy shakeout, resulting in castings with high dimensional accuracy, fewer defects, enhanced internal quality, and reduced rejection rates.

The Shell Molding Line Consists of Five Main Units
Shakeout and Shot-Sand Separation Unit
Includes a flask tilter, vibrating shakeout machine, vibrating conveyor screen, bucket elevator, drum screen, linear vibrating screen, cooling drum, water spray system, belt conveyor, waste sand hopper, and chutes.
Steel Shot Cooling and Storage Unit
Comprises a steel shot cooling device, chain bucket elevator, cooling drum, water spray control system, and steel shot storage hopper.
Dust Collection Unit
Consists of a dust collection system and a ventilation system, including a dust collector, centrifugal fan, dust hoods, ductwork, and air dampers.
Control Unit
Features a main power switch, PLC control system, touchscreen HMI, and local control panels for each machine.
