Shell Molding Technology

Shell Mold Casting Production Line

Huaxin's Steel Shot Filling Shell Molding Line produces molds via the shell molding process using coated sand, with iron shot or dry sand as filling media to support molds for high-quality casting production.

Molds produced by this process feature high strength, excellent air permeability and good shakeout performance, delivering superior geometric and dimensional accuracy while reducing casting defects and rejection rates.

Main Features

Built for High-Quality Shell Molds

Step-type Pouring & Cooling

Iron shot filling machine, vibrating compaction table, shell mold conveyor and open conveying line form the pouring and cooling stage.

Shakeout & Shot-Sand Separation

Flask tilter, vibrating shakeout, screening equipment and cooling drums separate steel shot from sand after casting.

Steel Shot Cooling & Storage

Chain bucket elevator, cooling conveying drum and water spray control recirculate steel shot for reuse.

Integrated Dust Removal

Dust collector, centrifugal fan and dust hoods control emissions at each dust-generating point.

PLC Control with Touch Screen HMI

Main power switch, PLC logic control system and local control boxes coordinate the full production line.

High Mold Strength & Accuracy

Coated sand molds deliver high strength, excellent air permeability and superior dimensional accuracy.
