The fully automatic static pressure molding line is primarily used for automated clay-sand mold casting. Static pressure molding integrates mold production, conveying, pouring, cooling and shakeout into a continuous, automated casting process that improves production efficiency and casting quality.
Prepare and deliver green sand to the molding section.
Fill and compact the flask using the selected molding process.
Place required cores according to the casting process.
Align and close the cope and drag before pouring.
Transfer and pour molten metal according to the project configuration.
Move the poured molds through the planned cooling route.
Separate castings and sand after the specified cooling period.
Route castings to the selected downstream cleaning process.
Molding equipment is the core of the project. Sand preparation, core making, pouring, cooling, shakeout, cleaning and dust collection are configured only when included in the agreed line scope.
Main Features
A high level of automation means the complete line requires no more than 3–4 operators.
The automated control system reduces manual operations and improves production efficiency.
Reduces the scrap rate and machining allowance while lowering molten iron costs by approximately 2%.
A high-precision rigid positioning system and automatic mold-closing manipulator achieve mold-closing positioning accuracy of less than 0.2 mm.
Multi-head double-sided compaction produces hard, uniformly compacted molds that resist molten-metal expansion; compared with conventional mechanical molding, it directly reduces casting weight by 5%–10%.
Compaction Technology
Process selection depends on flask geometry, pattern complexity, sand conditions and the required mold characteristics. Huaxin confirms the final route during project engineering.

Airflow first moves sand toward the pattern area, followed by controlled squeezing to complete compaction.

The mold is compacted through coordinated pressure from the pattern side and the multi-head squeezing system.

The line is designed around a green-sand molding process. Sand preparation capacity, properties and control requirements must be reviewed together with the molding equipment.
Huaxin reviews the pattern, flask, sand condition and target mold characteristics before recommending airflow pre-compaction with squeezing or squeeze and counter-squeeze molding.
Capacity depends on flask size, casting process, core-setting requirements, pouring and cooling time, downstream handling and the operating plan. It is calculated during project engineering.
Yes, supporting systems can be engineered as part of the agreed project scope. The quotation should identify the boundary between core molding equipment, optional systems and customer-provided equipment.
Please provide casting drawings or samples, material, maximum dimensions and weight, output target, current process, workshop layout and available supporting systems. Installation, commissioning and training scope can then be defined in the proposal.
